Remix Galore

So I've stashed away from stems from different remix contests that I was unable to participate in, and today I dug up one song and I've tweaked it all morning and afternoon. This is probably by far the dirtiest, darkest remix I've have made thus far. I'll give away a small teaser in a week or two once it begins to shape even more.

In the meantime, I got the live recording and I'll be editing that over the span of this week. I'll be uploading that along with my remix pack. I need ideas for future podcast mix so don't hesitate to send me an email.

Bad/Good News

Bad News: Unfortunately, the Pendulum remix contest is open to UK residents only. So I will not be completing and publishing my remix anytime soon as I have more important deadlines to worry about at the moment. So this project will be put on hold until further notice.

Good News: Because I'm not participating in the contest, I don't have a deadline. This way, I can bring out some full potential on the song in any fashion that I see fit.You will hear a new remix that I'll be working on by November 8th however so that will be my make up for missing out. I'll have my new mix out soon too.

Plans for the Future

The remix contest deadline for Pendulum's "The Island" is on Monday, October 18th. Yes, this is the remix I've been working on, so expect something to be up online by then. I will provide the link.

In other good news, I've found yet another remix contest to participate in. The deadline will be on November 8th which is cutting it close. I will be working hard to come up with something sounding good for this one. Have no fear, I will most likely post up a new mix for everyone shortly!

In the meantime, hold your seats!

Update No.2

So just today I sent in my remix files for the Madeleine Bloom Remix contest, so now we must all wait for the official compilation release on

As for the remix, I've been tweaking the genre lately and so I'm having some difficulty trying to come up with a final draft. I should have a general template done after this long weekend and hopefully to my standard before the deadline.

I've also entered my recent mix to a contest as usual, so if you wouldn't mind going over and voting/listening that would be great!

So ever since the live mix I've been keeping myself quite busy with my personal private life. Good news as you may have heard is that I'll be working yet again on a remix, and the contest will be closing on October 19th. Speaking of remixes, my "Zero Tolerance" by Madeleine Bloom remix will be my first song that will go onto an album! The exact email was as follows:

Dear Artist,

Thank you for participating in the Madeleine Bloom “Zero Tolerance” Remix Contest. We want to include your Remix in a compilation release of the best remixes from the contest! (The final track list has not been determined, but we want to make sure we have your final WAV files collected so we can have the option to include it.)

So that was really good news. So things to expect in the near future are:
  • Remix for a popular Drum'n'Bass band
  • Madeleine Bloom “Zero Tolerance” Remix Compilation featuring my remix
  • Psychedelic Psytrance Phase #2 Mix Release
