Cerebral Anomie Series

This new acid techno series named "Cerebral Anomie Series" is another series that I'm beginning but this one has a definitive ending. The series is a recap of the most popular acid techno songs from the 90s and the early 2000s.

"Brain", the ego taken by three artists (Michael Da Brain, D-Noiser, and Ray Clarke), created a spectacular series of songs under the recording label "Brain Recordings". Brain recordings started with their first release in 1996 with Brain#1 "Acid Fly" by Michael Baur (aka. Michael Da Brain) and ended in 2004 with Brain#43 "Inschalah" by Frank D. Noise (aka. D-Noiser). The three masterminds behind Brain Recordings was an epiphany for its genre. Unfortunately the legendary "Brain" died in 2004 from the baby boom of new genre in the underground and mainstream.

Now, in 2010, I am here to pay tribute to those three artists with the new Cerebral Anomie Series which features all 43 tracks. Each series episode will consist of different brain songs from the years without any added effects. The transitions are of course made by me.

I hope you enjoy this classic mix.

New Song

Hey listeners! I produced my first song last night after a years long break. The song plays on the role of Acid Techno and will be the demo song for listeners to hear before the release of the new Acid Techno series!

The song has a very basic template for most Hard Acid Techno such as the style of using the 808s or the 909s. I used a Copper and Silver synthesizer for the annoying melody and worked with the length of the tune. Very easy to start off with and it only took me about an hour to create.

I've also got an update on my remix that I've been working on. I'm in the final stages of editing and adding SFX and it should be online shortly after the next podcast has been uploaded. I'll be remixing a strange genre into a Drum'n'Bass beat mix that has a glitchcore theme.

New Mix Decided

The next podcast mix has been decided. The good news is the following: if you really like the heavy electronic music, this is for you. Bad News: if you hate repetition and high-pitched noises then refrain from listening to this podcast.

The upcoming mix will bring back a 1980s-early 2000s genre known as Acid Techno, or in this case, Hard Acid Techno. H.A.T was popular for using its three Roland series hardware instruments: Roland TB-303, Roland TR-808, and Roland TR-909. I grew up listening to this kind of music when I was a kid so as annoying as it sounds, it drives me. I'm looking forward to completing my tracklist and then mixing and mashing some of these songs.

Remix Production In Order

Good news listeners: I'll be working on another remix for a competition. The original song is pretty crappy but I'll turn it around!

Update on the rock mix: I'll need a few more days to wait for a little something to add to the mix. It's very easy to do the mix but if what I wait for comes soon, many of you will be surprised. Expect a release by at most Saturday night.

Hard Rock!

Eff that. Anyone for some hard rock?

Egh...

I'll be taking a week's prepare to figure out what genre I want to mix up. The inactivity of my fans doesn't help me decide what I should do.

Be More Active!

I'll make a non-Electronic mix such as rock if my fans were more active and decide to comment...if not, I'll probably work on another trance mix
